(an amazingly addictive snack!)
Kale Chips are one of the most satisfying, easiest snacks I have ever made. They never last long at our house and I always have to make at least 2-3 bunches of kale at a time. They are the healthiest snack ever! Sprinkle a tiny amount of cayenne pepper on top for a little extra kick! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 Bunch of Kale (stems removed, I use dino or green curly kale)
2 Tbs of oil (I use olive)
1/4-1/3 cup of nutritional yeast
Sea salt and pepper to taste
Method:
Preheat oven to 200 F. Wash, de-stem, and dry the kale. Tear into small pieces. Sprinkle with the rest of the ingredients. Spread kale out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cook in oven with the door cracked open for 30 minutes. Remove kale from the oven, turn kale over, and put back into the oven for 15-30 more minutes. Note; depending on your oven and how crispy you like it, play with the cooking time. These are so good, there are never any leftovers.
